Paperback. Master Fanuc Macro Programming and unlock the full potential of CNC automation. This comprehensive guide takes you from the fundamentals of Fanuc Macro Programming to advanced industrial applications used in modern manufacturing. Whether you are a CNC machinist, programmer, manufacturing engineer, student, or automation professional, this book provides the knowledge and practical examples needed to create flexible, reusable, and production-ready CNC macro programs.Unlike conventional G-code programming, Fanuc Macro Programming enables you to develop intelligent machining routines that automatically adapt to changing dimensions, workpiece configurations, and production requirements. By combining variables, mathematical functions, conditional logic, loops, system variables, and macro calls, you can dramatically reduce programming time while increasing productivity and machining consistency.Inside this book, you'll learn: - The fundamentals of Fanuc Macro Programming and parametric CNC programming- Local, common, permanent, and system variables- Arithmetic, mathematical, and logical operations- Conditional programming, branching, and loop programming- Macro calls using G65, G66, and G67- Custom canned cycles for drilling, pocket milling, thread milling, slot machining, and contour generation- Tool life monitoring and production counters- Automated hole patterns, pocket machining, thread milling, and slot generation- Parametric contour machining using polygons, ellipses, ovals, and complex geometries- Advanced mathematical programming including coordinate rotation, scaling, and dynamic toolpath generation- Production automation, flexible manufacturing, and family-of-parts programming- Alarm handling, debugging, troubleshooting, and macro programming best practices- Complete industrial macro projects and a reusable macro library for real-world CNC applications- Quick-reference appendices covering variables, system variables, mathematical functions, and programming syntaxEvery chapter includes detailed explanations supported by practical Fanuc macro programs that demonstrate real industrial machining techniques. The programming examples are designed to help readers understand not only how macro programming works but also how it is applied in production environments to improve efficiency, reduce setup time, and simplify CNC programming.Whether you are transitioning from conventional G-code programming or looking to develop advanced parametric machining solutions, this book provides a structured, hands-on approach to mastering Fanuc Macro Programming. It serves as both a learning resource and a long-term reference for engineers and CNC professionals seeking to build scalable, maintainable, and intelligent machining programs. If you want to move beyond traditional CNC programming and harness the power of industrial automation, this book is an essential addition to your technical library.
