If your goal is to:
▪️Compete for the coveted title
▪️Attain a top global ranking
▪️Win a mini-league
If so, this book is for you.
This second edition incorporates all the strategies and guidance you need to succeed. All the key aspects are discussed from pre-season planning, selecting your initial draft to remaining competitive for 38 gruelling weeks.
Comprehensive research over five seasons highlights the current FPL trends. From the number of transfers and additional transfers being made to the average number of captaincy and bench points by managers at all ranks. Additionally, you will learn the optimal time to activate each chip to maximise points. An in-depth analysis of the Top One Hundred Managers uncovers some startling findings and what can be achieved in FPL. There are also fascinating insights from previous champions, a Top One Hundred player and an Elite Manager.
Psychology in FPL involves understanding and overcoming biases and emotions that influence decision-making. Emotional wellbeing, decision-making, variance, management styles, risk management and cognitive biases are all explored.
“Chasing Green Arrows leaves no stone unturned in this aim, from selecting your initial draft, to transfer strategy, picking your captain, and of course, the best way to utilise your chips. The second edition of Chasing Green Arrows is even more comprehensive than the first. With additional, more recent seasons of data, it cements the book as a must-read for everyone who plays the game.
Whether you’re a veteran of the game or a relative newcomer, your understanding of the game will benefit from reading this book. It’s the most comprehensive FPL book I’ve ever read (and I’ve read plenty). In my opinion, it’s the ultimate handbook for every FPL manager. I’m sure you’ll enjoy it as much as I did.” - Dan Bennett (10 Top 10k finishes), Writer for Fantasy Football Fix
