August 1979 through December 1984: the first forty issues of this long-running American horror periodical. Bound in blue buckram; retaining original covers; edges slightly trimmed with occasional loss to header/footer, and posters either cut up [e.g. Godzilla in #1], or very difficult to fold out [e.g. Dr. Who in #1]. Nevertheless useful as a resource. Upper fore-edge board of one volume nibbled. Four heavy volumes each measuring 11 x 8.2 inches.
