The talent show is in a week--how will Nancy come up with an act when she's assigned a super-quiet partner?
Nancy and her partner for the talent show are very different. They don't have any of the same talents. Singing and dancing and trapeze swinging are out--will they find a way to bridge their differences and have fun?
Both shy young readers and exuberant (a fancy word for excited!) ones will enjoy this story.
Fancy Nancy: The Show Must Go On is a Level One I Can Read book, which means it's perfect for children learning to sound out words and sentences. Whether shared at home or in a classroom, the short sentences, familiar words, and simple concepts of Level One books support success for children eager to start reading on their own.

About the Author
Jane O'Connor was born and raised in the fabulous metropolis of New York City. That's where she still lives with her husband, Jim, although both their grown sons did something unfathomable (that means impossible to understand). They moved to the West Coast! Besides writing the Fancy Nancy series and other books for children, Jane spent her whole career as an editor at major publishing houses. Recently retired, she finds herself with something she never had before--free time to do whatever she pleases.
Robin Preiss Glasser has illustrated many acclaimed picture books, including the bestselling Fancy Nancy series, Lambslide, Escape Goat, and Grand Jeté and Me: A Christmas Holiday Book for Kids. She won the Children's Choice Award for Best Illustrator of the Year for Fancy Nancy and the Mermaid Ballet. Robin actually wore tiaras and tutus when she danced with the Pennsylvania Ballet. Now she happily spends her days in jeans, drawing. Robin and her family live in Southern California.
