nach der Bestellung gedruckt Neuware - Printed after ordering - ''A Fancy of Hers'' is a novel written by Horatio Alger Jr. The story revolves around a young girl named Jessie, who is an orphan and lives with her aunt and uncle. Jessie is a talented artist, but her aunt and uncle do not support her passion for art and instead force her to focus on household chores. Jessie's life changes when she meets a wealthy woman named Mrs. Loring, who recognizes Jessie's talent and offers to mentor her. Mrs. Loring introduces Jessie to the world of art and helps her develop her skills. However, Jessie's aunt and uncle disapprove of her spending time with Mrs. Loring and forbid her from seeing her. Jessie must decide whether to follow her passion for art or obey her aunt and uncle's wishes. The novel explores themes of family, ambition, and the pursuit of one's dreams.Ben Hadley's conversion had indeed been sudden, and, as in most similar cases, he found some difficulty in staying converted. While his pride was flattered by the confidence reposed in him by Miss Frost, there were times when his old mischievous propensities almost overcame him. On the third day, as John Cotton was passing Ben's desk, the latter suddenly thrust out his foot into the passageway between the desks, and John tumbled over it.This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations. Because we believe this work is culturally important, we have made it available as part of our commitment for protecting, preserving, and promoting the world's literature in affordable, high quality, modern editions, that are true to their original work.…
