All edges marbled; marbled endpapers. Extremely minor rubbing to spine tail and prize bookplate to pdep. A clean, bright copy; Near Fine condition. Handsome prize binding of the origins of popular phrases from a multitude of authors including Shakespeare, George Washington and Sir Isaac Newton, with a contemporary bookplate dated 1912.
