Paperback. In the shadowed heart of darkness, where the unexplained specters guard secrets older than time, the veil between reality and nightmare frays. All Too Familiar weaves 13 chilling tales of the uncanny, drawing from the region's darkest legends and otherworldly terrors. Venture into the mist-choked hollers where a witch's curse binds a family to a bone-charmed fate. Stalk the Shenandoah Valley alongside battle-weary soldiers hunted by a monstrous Bigfoot, its eyes blazing with primal rage. Confront the Mothman in Point Pleasant, where its glowing red gaze heralds doom, or face the Jersey Devil's wrath in the haunted Pine Barrens, where a cursed bloodline hungers for redemption. In the Dismal Swamp, a doglike beast with hellfire eyes stalks lost lovers, while a faceless ghost in a Pennsylvania asylum whispers of unspeakable crimes. From a scientist's doomed creation, a creature born of love and torment, to alien lights that abduct campers into a warped dimension, these stories unravel the horrors of the known and unknown. Zombies swarm a world undone by hubris, time travelers unravel history with a single misstep, and restless spirits haunt libraries and crypts, their sorrow etched into the land itself. Each tale in this haunting anthology pulls you deeper into a world where folklore meets fear, and the Appalachian night whispers truths too terrifying to face alone. Perfect for fans of cosmic horror, cryptid lore, and the eerie pulse of rural legend, All Too Famiar will leave you questioning what lurks in the shadows of the mountains.
