nach der Bestellung gedruckt Neuware - Printed after ordering - Pastor Gideon Pryor has spent most of his life listening for the voice of God.Now, for the first time, he hears nothing. His church is struggling. Attendance is slipping, money is running short, and the certainty that once guided his ministry has begun to disappear. Then Gideon discovers Meridian, a powerful artificial intelligence capable of analyzing vast amounts of information in seconds. At first, he uses it for something harmless: research. Then he gives it a recording of someone speaking in tongues.Meridian finds patterns. What begins as curiosity becomes an obsession as Gideon turns to decades of archived church recordings, searching for connections no human being could possibly find on his own. When those patterns appear to point toward something extraordinary, Gideon begins to wonder if technology has given him a new way to understand the voice of God.But discovery brings opportunity, and opportunity brings temptation. As Gideon's influence grows, so does his willingness to justify the choices he makes. Each compromise becomes easier than the last. Each success makes it harder to question the path he has chosen. And somewhere between serving God and serving himself, Gideon stops asking the one question that matters most:Whose voice is he really listening to The False Word is a dark psychological suspense novel about faith, artificial intelligence, ambition, and the dangerous things we can convince ourselves to believe when temptation sounds enough like truth.…
