Paperback. Sometimes apparent victory can be more dangerous than defeatWhen Princess Suleka returns to Attar, she is in disgrace. Not only has she violated the off-world taboo but, in the eyes of her fellow citizens, she herself has been violated by spending time in the presence of two men. Taking advantage of the situation, Crown Prince Bastion plans to force her into marriage by means of the ancient Rite of Possession. This, he hopes, will stop his father replacing him with a younger son. In pursuit of this goal, he has Suleka kidnapped, drugged and secluded on the pleasure planet Gomorrah. Her only hope is that her friends from the Silver Queen will come to her rescue. But Gomorrah is a dangerous place and its owners, the Henderson family, are dangerous men. Caught in a web of hatred and ambition, Ral Jarvin finds himself in danger of execution for the murder of Carl Henderson. Meanwhile, David Damion's feelings for Nova McLaren are distracting him to the point where he is making serious mistakes. With passions running high, it looks very much as if the Henderson family will accomplish what Grey Dawn could not. Can the quartet of friends untangle the threads that threaten them and escape from this sleazy planet with their lives? This item is printed on demand.
