nach der Bestellung gedruckt Neuware - Printed after ordering - I used to be Sophia Abernathy, Manhattan's darling socialite, floating through a life of luxury without a care in the world. But when my world came crashing down, I traded silk gowns for sensible shoes and lavish parties for the hustle of a nine-to-five. Navigating the maze of office politics is a far cry from the galas I'm used to, but with the help of new friends and the reappearance of Michael-my once-confidant from a time I've tried to forget-I might just find my footing. Yet, as rumors of deceit and danger emerge, I wonder if stepping out of my gilded cage has led me into a trap. Can I carve out a new identity without losing myself, or will the remnants of my former life consume me Join me on this rollercoaster of self-discovery, unlikely alliances, and the pursuit of a life that's truly my own.
