Paperback. In the decaying city of Veridian, where demons masquerade as civic leaders and corruption festers in every shadowed alley, Father Gregorio fights to save his fractured parish from a sea of depravity. When he uncovers an ancient text promising a ritual to purge the demonic taint with a flood of consecrated water, Gregorio gathers a desperate band of followers-Elias, a stonemason; Seraphina, a streetwise orphan; Mateo, a cynical apothecary; and Anya, a scarred warrior-to venture into the city's labyrinthine aqueducts. But the path to salvation is fraught with horror: grotesque creatures, arcane traps, and a betrayal that shatters their fragile trust. As Gregorio confronts the demons within the city and within himself, the ritual unleashes a cleansing wave-at a devastating cost. In the aftermath, Veridian begins a fragile rebirth, but lingering mysteries hint at a darkness yet to come. The Fallen Flock is a chilling tale of faith, sacrifice, and the battle for redemption in a world where evil wears a human face. Perfect for fans of Stephen King's haunting, character-driven horror.
