She's just never faced it on her own before. She finds herself twisted with the knowledge that the man she loves murdered the other half of her twin-soul in an effort to remain alive. She's tail-spinning. Her reaps are crap. She's losing power. One question burns through her mind, demanding an answer: Who exactly is Wells? And how was he able to insert himself into the veil between worlds? Killing him, avenging her brother's death could bring the end of the worlds as they know it. Is revenge worth that? Maybe? Maybe not.But she's still drawn to Wells and she can't deny it. Help arrives from the most unlikely of places: Geiroff, her divine reaper ex-betrothed. He knows her better than anyone else and he's the only person who understands what she's going through. He's also the one who can get her the answers she so desperately needs. Oria knew the one constant in her life was her twin. That ended the day Wells killed him.
Oria is a reaper for Freya's army, so she knows suffering, grief, and death. She’s just never faced it on her own before. She finds herself twisted with the knowledge that the man she loves murdered the other half of her twin-soul in an effort to remain alive.
She’s tail-spinning. Her reaps are crap. She’s losing power. One question burns through her mind, demanding an answer: Who exactly is Wells? And how was he able to insert himself into the veil between worlds? Killing him, avenging her brother’s death could bring the end of the worlds as they know it. Is revenge worth that? Maybe? Maybe not.
But she's still drawn to Wells and she can't deny it.
Help arrives from the most unlikely of places: Geiroff, her divine reaper ex-betrothed. He knows her better than anyone else and he's the only person who understands what she’s going through.
He's also the one who can get her the answers she so desperately needs. But in doing so, she finds herself falling for yet another bad choice.
This one, however, could unmake her. What’s a reaper of Freya's army supposed to do with that?
The dark mythology saga continues. Get your fill of magic, reapers and war between darkness and light.
