Paperback. When Emma Harper inherits her grandmother's worn down cafe in the charming small town of Hallowbrook, she promises herself it's only temporary. Fix it up, sell it fast and get back to her real life. But nothing in Hallowbrook goes according to plan, especially not Lucas Bennett, the gruff hardware store owner across the street who seems determined to remind her she's in over her head.Between creaky floors, mismatched mugs and the town's endlessly meddling locals, Emma finds herself falling into rhythms she never expected. And when the Harvest Festival draws near, from pumpkin spice lattes to cozy autumn mornings, the cafe begins to feel less like a burden. and more like home.As autumn leaves paint the town in beautiful colours, Emma must decide: will she let go of Hallowbrook, or follow the spark that's been quietly growing with Lucas into something she never thought she'd find?
