Most items will be dispatched the same or the next working day. A readable copy. All pages and the cover are intact (dust cover may be missing). Pages can include considerable notes--in pen or highlighter--but notes cannot obscure the text. Proof Copy, dated 1950, one year before the first edition, with some pen notes to text and end papers, presume author or editor or publisher. Largely good condition hardcover, some wear and tearing to cloth boards at edges, splitting to hinge at front spine base, some pulling to front board. Some pulling to binding at inside hinge, webbing partly visible. Foxing to text block edges. Content clear. A nice reading copy.
