Don't Fall Behind College and Beyond combines and expands the entire college line of the Don't Fall Behind Student Success Series. 196 short, practical strategies. Zero lectures. Zero "just try harder." Written for the college student navigating classes, hard weeks, career questions, internships, graduation, and everything that comes after.
This is a DOING book, built to be opened to the section that fits your life right now.
Inside you'll find:
- Part 1–3: Set up the systems that keep you from falling behind — deadlines, calendars, syllabus tricks, and the routines that carry you through a full semester.
- Part 4–6: Handle the things nobody tells you how to handle — phone distractions, roommate conflicts, adulting basics, and finding people in a place where friendship no longer happens automatically.
- Part 7–9: Recover when things go sideways — academic recovery plans, mental health support, crisis resources, and what to do when the semester is already off the rails.
- Part 10: Understand money in college — financial aid timing, spending plans, emergency grants, and how to prevent the mid-semester money crisis.
- Part 11–12: Build career direction before senior year — informational interviews, resumes, cover letters, applications, and interview preparation that actually works.
- Part 13–14: Prepare for what comes next — graduation timelines, graduate school decisions, first-job basics, and staying on track in the year after college ends.
• You are starting college and want to build systems before the semester gets hard
• You are already behind and don't know where to start
• You are recovering from a difficult semester or academic probation
• You are stressed, overwhelmed, or wondering if college is for you
• You are approaching graduation without a clear plan for what comes next
• You have just started your first job out of college and want to show up well
Every strategy takes 10 minutes or less to read. Most take under 5.
You do not have to do all 196. Even 10 will change how your semester feels. This is a toolkit, not a checklist. Open to whatever section fits your life today. Start where you are.
You are not behind. You are building.
The systems that carry you through college — and into everything after it — are inside this book. All 196 of them.
The Complete College Collection. Part of the Don't Fall Behind Student Success Series.

Store description
**Please note our transit times are from the date of dispatch.** We first started out as “The Paperback Exchange,” a chain of physical bookstores where we would part exchange your beloved books for new stories to transport you to faraway places. However, as shopping started to evolve to online shops and marketplaces, we bid our stores goodbye to become “PBShop.” This transition has only allowed us to blossom as we now ship thousands of titles to book lovers across the globe. We pride ourselves in being a community of local book lovers which allows our passion and devotion to shine in everything we do. In 2020 we not only celebrated our 20th birthday but our 1st birthday as being completely employee owned after becoming an E.O.T in September 2019. We are proud to be different and embrace standing apart on a book mountain by working from a virtual inventory which allows us to provide thousands of books that may be difficult to get for your bookshelf or your studies. Working with a number of different suppliers allows us to explore other avenues such as puzzles, sheet music and even stationery so we really do have something for everyone. Life is about being versatile in all realms of existence. If this is your first purchase with us, or you are a returning customer, we would like to welcome you to the PBShop family, for there is no friend as loyal as a book. We are a company who put our customers at the centre of everything we do as we understand the importance of reading because once you learn to read, you will forever be free. There are a whole lot of things in this world of ours that we are yet to explore, which is why we will forever inspire curious minds.…
