Two volumes in one book. Stated: The Standard Edition of the Novels and Poems of Sir Walter Scott. Limited to one thousand numbered and registered sets, of which this is No. 402. This classic book on the exterior has light wear marks at the top and bottom of its spine, worn areas on all four corners, light scuffing marks on the front cover, and a light stain at the top of the rear cover. Outside of those detriments, the exterior is in very well-preserved condition with the gold lettering and guilt top book edge both in very good condition. The interior book has some light browning on the inside front and rear pages, but otherwise has no visible extraneous markings or detriments throughout the book, and thus all of the printing and illustrations are in a very well preserved and enjoyable condition and the book's bindings remain tight.
