120 pp. Deutsch.

The bike has been the humble companion of man for more than 200 years, it serves the little ones and the big on their everyday paths, but also for unusual journeys. But the most important thing is that it can give us a feeling of complete freedom. Perhaps because man on a bike is only one pedal step away from lifting.
Where do the fascination and passion for cycling come from? What does it do with our bodies and our feelings, with our paths through landscapes or cities? How did the idea of the bike come about, how did it change the world, and how can it still change it?
Humorous and full of enthusiasm, told and illustrated, it is a book for cycling enthusiasts big and small.
