Facing the Future with Hope is a collection of sermons that lives up to its title. Drawing on the gospel message in the Advent, Christmas, and Epiphany seasons, Richard Hasler brings readers to the joyous anticipation and celebration of this part of the Christian worship calendar. Hasler translates the joyful, anxious expectation of the coming king in Bethlehem to our Christian walk today, demonstrating how we can maintain that walk with hope and contentment.
This collection of sermons is a valuable resource for:
- Sermon starters and illuminating illustrations
- Gaining a new homiletical perspective to the lectionary
- Offering a newer, deeper understanding and appreciation of scripture
- Using as a starter for adult Bible study groups or personal devotions
This sermon collection includes:
Believing the Impossible
Seeing Is Believing
Developing a Quiet Center
... and many more!
