A selection of 497 fables from some 32 fabulists with engraved illustrations by the French illustrator and caricaturist, J.J. Grandville. A handsomely bound copy. A very good copy with some light spotting and rubbing to the leather spine. The text is good with some scattered foxing and spotting.
