Do you want to reduce production waste, quality failures, and costly downtime? Are you struggling to connect materials, machining, automation, lean methods, and safety into one efficient manufacturing system? Do you want to understand Industry 4.0 while mastering the fundamentals that keep production reliable?
FUNDAMENTALS OF MODERN MANUFACTURING HANDBOOK
Production Engineering, Materials, Machining, Quality, Automation, Lean Systems, Safety, and Efficiency
is a comprehensive reference for engineering students, manufacturing professionals, production managers, and technical learners. It brings production engineering, materials, manufacturing processes, quality, automation, lean systems, safety, sustainability, and emerging technologies together in one integrated guide.
Why this handbook stands out:
-
Connect the complete manufacturing picture instead of studying machining, quality, automation, lean, and safety as isolated subjects.
-
Combine theory with practical application through calculations, diagrams, tables, methods, and decision frameworks.
-
Master both traditional and advanced technologies, including casting, welding, machining, CNC, robotics, IIoT, AI, digital twins, and additive manufacturing.
-
Improve operational performance by understanding waste reduction, OEE, process control, maintenance, productivity, and cost-reduction methods.
-
Prepare for modern manufacturing challenges involving safety, sustainability, energy efficiency, digital transformation, and intelligent factories.
Inside, you will learn how to select suitable production systems and materials, understand statistical process control and process capability, apply Lean and Six Sigma principles, improve workflow and equipment effectiveness, evaluate automation, manage workplace hazards, and make stronger data-driven production decisions.
Readers can expect 22 structured chapters, original diagrams and data tables, chapter summaries, a manufacturing glossary, engineering reference tables, key formulas, and worked calculations designed for study, revision, and professional reference.
Whether you are developing engineering knowledge, managing production, or modernizing industrial operations, this handbook gives you a practical foundation for making smarter, safer, and more efficient manufacturing decisions.
Purchase your copy today and strengthen your command of modern manufacturing.
