8vo. 7.5 x 5.5 inches. xvi + 1104 pp. Bound in half brown leather, gilt, over brown boards,spine in compartments with raised bands, decorated gilt, in neatly repaired green dust wrapper with publisher's content note on front and advertisement on rear wrappers. Printed on india paper. A little fore edge spotting, but otherwise a very good clean copy. Signature on half title. Decorated by publisher's device on title page. Reprint of the collected edition of The Forsyte Saga, by John Galsworthy (1867-1933), novelist and playwright, first published in 1922 with a new introduction by the author. It includes the first three books of the Saga, The Man of Property, In Chancery and To Let, with the two Interludes, the three titles originally published separately.
