6 x 9 in. clxviii, 268 pp, plus 24 pg. publisher's adverts. Brown pebble-textured cloth boards with blindstamped symbol on cover and ilt spine titles. B&W plates and one fold-out table. Condition is VERY GOOD ; corners and ends of spine bumped and worn with some board showing at corners. Covers clean and spine a bit toned. Spine has wear and closed tears at upper front and sporadically along the entire rear hinge. Top 1/8 inch of spine is missing. The front hinge is a bit loose due to that tear but the binding is tight. The black paper covering the inner front hinge has a split. The text is clean and bright, with a contemporary PO's name at the top of the title pg. The plates and fold-out are all excellent, with no marks. Sides of text block lightly toned. Science. Stax.
