Full Blue calf leather with Five raised bands, red leather title slip and gilt titles and decs to spine and College Gilt blocked device to front, gilt dec edges to boards, marbled non parallel red end papers and hand sewn two colour head and tail bands. Signed Prize binding by Bickers & Son London.175 x 120 mm approx. matching marbled edges to book block, 200 pages 59 line figs in text. Series of 6 Lectures + Light-House Illumination- The Electric Light delivered 1860. Undated circa 1890's (New Edition with Illustrations). Good (Book- 4 cm approx crack to leather top front hinge, no notable rubbing or soiling. no cracks to end papers and binding other than crack to leather very sound.
