As folhas preliminares impressas incluem a dedicatória do impressor a D. Maria Amezquita Y Guzman, mulher de D. António de Contreras, Cavaleiro da Ordem de Calatrava, senhora que se distinguiu pela fundação do Instituto das Recogidas em Madrid, do Convento dos Capuchinhos de Segovia e pelas avultadas ofertas a hospitais e ordens religiosas. Contêm também a suma do privilégio, fé de erratas, taxa, prólogo ao leitor, índice e catálogo dos santos por ordem alfabética. Obra que compreende a descrição da vida de Cristo (93 páginas), vidas dos principais santos, festas e santos de Espanha, santos de Espanha pouco conhecidos, santos extravagantes, ou seja que não estavam incluídos no Breviário nem eram dos próprios de Espanha, e a peroração do autor datada de 6 de Janeiro de 1567. Edição muito rara acrescentada com novas vidas de santos. Segundo Palau, o autor declara que acabou de escrever o texto em 1577. Villegas é um clássico do século de ouro espanhol e um hagiógrafo caracterizado pelo rigor e veracidade com que narrou as vidas dos santos. In 8º big (29.5x20.5 cm) with [xxiv] 816 pps. [belongs to Franco Taves de Affonseca of the Village of Escarigo Custoulhe with other 4500 ?reys?]. The first printed pages include the dedication of the printer to Lady Maria Amezquita Y Guzman, wife of Sir António de Contreras, Knight of the Order of Calatrava (first military order founded in Castile). This Lady was known for having founded the Institute of Recogidas in Madrid, the convent of the Capuchins in Segovia and for the very generous offers to hospitals and religious orders. After, there is the summary of the privilege; the errata; price; prologue to the reader; index; and catalogue of the saints in alphabetical order. This work contains the description of the life of Christ (93 pages); the lives of the most important saints; Spanish celebrations and saints; not very known Spanish saints; extravagant saints, i.e. those who were not included in the Breviary and weren?t from Spain either; and the peroration of the author dated January 6, 1567. Effects of cancellation
If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).
We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.
We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel with contract.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
