It is the dawn of the American Revolutionary War of 1776. A tangled web of conspiracy spans North America. It does not matter what your creed, color, culture, faith or gender is—all stand together in the war for survival. Every Rebel patriot holds Thomas Paine’s Common Sense aloft as they take up arms against the British Empire. The city of Boston is occupied by the Red Coats, surrounded by Rebel militias. But as the revolution has begun, something far more mysterious stirs.
Agents of the occult entreat both the Continental Army and British Empire. Freemasons conspire in the City of Brotherly Love. Maryland is in the throes of a witch hunt by the Knights Templar. Amid the chaos, other grim fairy tales have emerged.
Ghouls have been tunneling beneath Boston. There are sightings of witches in the Great Dismal Swamp. Indigenous sachem speak of devils who walk among the living. The Leeds Devil haunts the Pine Barrens of New Jersey. And worse still, a shadowy collective called “The Mandoag” seeks to consume all, Loyalists and Rebels alike.
In this game, most people have either chosen to deny the supernatural or rationalize it away. A rare few accept it for what it is to act. You are among those heroes and destined for greatness… or death.
This alternative history game includes most of what you need to play: a player’s handbook, a game master’s guide, a bestiary, and an introductory adventure set in Boston. All that’s left are a few friends, pencils, and a handful of dice.

About the Author
Daniel D. Fox is a game designer and winner of two gold ENNIE Awards at Gen Con for Best Game and Product of the Year with his fantasy horror game ZWEIHANDER RPG. He has since created Main Gauche, Dark Astral, Flames of Freedom Grim & Perilous RPG, Fever Knights RPG, ZWEIHANDER Fantasy Horror RPG Starter Kit, and produced Blackbirds RPG, Eternal Night of Lockwood, and To Be Or Not To Be A Villain. When Daniel isn't designing tabletop role-playing games or board games, he's enjoying his other favorite hobby: cafe racer motorcycles. He lives in the City of Fountains with his wife Ali and their two young kobolds.
On dark, moonless nights, you can find DEJAN MANDIC lurking desolate streets of Belgrade, Serbia. Confronted, he will claim that he is walking his dog, but we all know that he really should be working on new drawings for Grim & Perilous worlds.
Having survived two wars and countless riots, Dejan lost interest in reality and prefers spending time inside his illustrations. Dog’s name is Molly.
Anna Goldberg (she/they) is a writer, editor, and geek of all trades. She designed her first game as a young kid when she and her siblings remade an old Monopoly Junior board into a game of diplomacy, backstabbing, and world history. Since then, Anna has worked on Flames of Freedom, the Zweihander Fantasy Horror RPG: Starter Kit, and Blackbirds, and she is thrilled to be part of the Fever Knights creative team. In addition to her work on Zweihander products, Anna is the co-founder of 6 String Games, a TTRPG micropress that publishes games from the stranger side of storytelling. She has worked with Mage Hand Press, DOTS RPG, and elsewhere making games and game-related content of all sorts. When they’re not playing or making games, Anna is an avid cosplayer, tea drinker, and bibliophile. They are the cofounder of the Disability Readathon, a semi-annual event dedicated to celebrating books and media created by disabled authors. They also do disability advocacy and consulting for games, cosplay events, and other geeky endeavors, promoting inclusivity and access for all. Anna resides in the Pacific Northwest, in a bog witch’s dwelling she shares with her husband and their two dogs.
Kate Bullock is a community and convention organizer with a passion for creating safer and more inclusive spaces within the TTRPG community. She’s one of the main organizers of Breakout Gaming Convention, community manager for Magpie Games, and the president of the Indie Game Developer Network. You can find her blog, Bluestocking’s Organic Gaming, filled with in depth analyses of the gaming community and what we can do to make it better. Kate is a consultant for safety and inclusion in the RPG world, as well as a content editor for RPGs to ensure they meet industry standards around inclusion and safety. You can find her games Crossroads Carnival, Savior, Remember Me, and more on DriveThruRPG, or see her work in Atlas Animalia, Dust, Fog, and the Glowing Ember, and After the War.

Store description
In 2002, World of Books Group was founded on an ethos to do good, protect the planet and support charities by enabling more goods to be reused. Since then, we've grown into to a global company pioneering the circular economy. Today, we drive the circular economy through three re-commerce brands: - Wob: Through Wob, we sell. We provide affordable, preloved books and media to customers all over the world. A book leaves our collection of over seven million titles and begins a new chapter every two seconds, enabling more goods to be reused. - Ziffit: Through Ziffit, we buy. We give people around the world the opportunity to contribute to the circular economy, earn money and protect the planet, by trading their unwanted books and media. - Shopiago: Through Shopiago, we help others. By sharing the technology that has grown World of Books Group into the business it is today, we’re helping charities increase revenue and reduce waste through re-commerce.…
