7pp extract, first page was damaged and is here presented in reproduction, removed from THE FILSON CLUB HISTORY QUARTERLY, Vol 29, No. 4, October, 1955. In report covers. G. David Rice was born in Virginia in 1733. Though raised as an Anglican, he converted to Presbyterianism as a young man, and entered the ministry. In 1783, he moved to Kentucky, where he organized three congregations, being most closely associated with the Danville Presbytery.
