Discover one of the most treasured devotional commentaries ever written—an inspiring, heartfelt journey through Psalm 119 that has stirred the souls of believers for generations. In Exposition of Psalm 119, Charles Bridges brings unmatched warmth, clarity, and spiritual depth to the longest psalm in Scripture, revealing its rich themes of holiness, guidance, comfort, affliction, and the transforming power of God’s Word.
Bridges writes not as a distant scholar but as a pastor who deeply loves Scripture and longs to lead readers into the same living relationship with God. Every verse becomes a doorway to spiritual renewal, every line an invitation to deeper obedience, and every meditation a gentle call back to delight in the law of the Lord. This is devotional reading at its finest—Bible-saturated, worshipful, and deeply practical.
Praised by Charles Spurgeon as “worth its weight in gold,” Bridges’s exposition stands as one of the greatest works ever penned on Psalm 119. Its enduring influence, timeless insights, and heartfelt conviction continue to inspire Christians who long for a richer prayer life, stronger faith, and a more intimate walk with God.
Whether you read it slowly as part of your devotional time or study it intensively for spiritual growth, this classic will deepen your love for Scripture, strengthen your trust in God, and guide you toward a life shaped by His Word. If you hunger for truth and long to grow in grace, Exposition of Psalm 119 will become a lifelong companion.
