What if our common understanding of happiness and success is wrong? What if living a comfortable life conforming to ideas of safety and certainty isn’t the answer?

What if, by exploring, we could find something more? That’s exactly what Erik Seversen has done.

In his first book, Ordinary to Extraordinary, Erik challenged the concept of meaning. Through riveting narratives of his experiences in exotic destinations and with amazing people, he inspired readers to reflect on their own lives in order to discover hidden realms of purpose and meaning.

In Explore, Erik again draws from his extreme adventures on the edge to challenge our assumptions of happiness and success. The true, first-person narratives in Explore focus on themes of love and growth to reveal how we all can live with both happiness and success right now.

For Erik, exploring isn’t just looking outwardly. While many stories in Explore describe his external adventures in Africa, Europe, Asia, South America, and subcultures within the US, Erik also shares experiences where he’s gone inward to learn, challenge, and grow himself from the inside out.

Through his lifelong pursuit of inner and outer exploration, Erik transformed from an anxious and secretly shy child to someone who’s totally immersed himself in the world. So far, Erik has ventured to 85 countries and all 50 states in the USA, and along the way, he’s accomplished many extraordinary feats in education, in business, and in life. What did he learn from it all? What does he disclose in Explore? That happiness and success are available to everyone right now.
