How faith and grace guide daily choices
Discover a concise, reasoned guide to living morally in a world of competing ideas. This book links belief, church teaching, and practical conduct to show how a Catholic framework shapes everyday decisions.
Rooted in a clear view of faith, dogma, and the role of grace, it argues that true morals arise from right belief guided by Christian truth. It explains how religion, worship, and conscience work together to form a life that reflects God's plan for humanity.
Written to be accessible and practical, the book invites readers to examine their motives, align actions with revealed truths, and cultivate virtue with the help of divine grace. It emphasizes personal responsibility within the framework of church authority and tradition.
- How belief and behavior reinforce one another in everyday life
- Why grace is seen as essential to authentic moral effort
- The role of dogma and church teaching in guiding choices
- Practical guidance for living a moral life with clarity and purpose
Ideal for readers seeking a compact, reliable perspective on Catholic ethics and daily decision making.

Product Description
The contents of this volume appeared originally in The Catholic Transcript, of Hartford, Connecti cut, in weekly instalments, from February, 1901, to February, 1903. During the course of their publica tion, it became evident that the form of instruction adopted was appreciated by a large number of read ers in varied conditions of life - this appreciation being evinced, among other ways, by a frequent and widespread demand for back-numbers of the publish ing journal. The management, finding itself unable to meet this demand, suggested the bringing out of the entire series in book-form; and thus, with very few corrections, we offer the Briefs to all desir ous of a better acquaintance with Catholic Morals.
