Hardcover. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Poor. 153 pages, illustrated with black and white photographs, colour engravings, plans and drawings, some folding, one such large plan carelessly folded and with some edge tears, book on good/very good condition (top edge dust marked and spotted, top and bottom of spine bumped, text and illustrations in very good, clean condition with poor dust-wrapper (worn, stained and with edge tears and with a third of the front panel torn away). Published by Architectural Press, London for Exeter City Council in 1946, here is the 2nd impression hardback printing of EXTER PHOENIX: A Plan for Rebuilding by Thomas Sharp. Red cloth binding, gilt spine lettering and front cover decoration, 153 pages, colour plates, illustrations, several fold out colour maps/ plans in very good condition the book is in good condition with some staining to the cloth edges, light bumping to the boards and the name of a previous owner inked to the half title page. The dust jacket is fair to good with finger marking to the covers plus chipping tearing and rubbing to the edges. Seller Inventory # 15059
