1873. (Disbound) Good. pp.97-288pp. 4to. Disbound gatherings, some pages loose. Pages toned, occasional foxing throughout. Text in French. Illustrated with many wood engravings. Maps. Disbound extract from "Le Tour Du Monde - Nouveau Journal des Voyages," a quarterly publication issued by Hachette in Paris from the 1860s to the 1890s. This travelogue gives a very detailed description of a journey starting from Liverpool on the Allan liner, The Moravian. Upon landing in Québec, this adventuring tourist makes his way across the country to the Forks at Winnipeg, a journey of some three months.
