Softcover. White wraps with pale pink accents, black and pink text across covers and along spine. Corners are very gently bumped. "ON EN" written neatly at foot of spine, in reference to former owner Lincoln Brower's bibliographical organization system, Endnote. Brower was a noteworthy conservationist and butterfly expert, and this volume comes from his library. Covers are otherwise clean and neat, still glossy. "LPB [Lincoln P. Brower], Fall 92, ON EN" written on FFEP. Pages are otherwise clean, crisp, and bright. Binding is tight and secure. University of Chicago Press. Copyright dated 1988. A very nice copy. We?ve got a wonderful bookcase or two of books from Lincoln Brower?s collection listed here. Everything you know about Monarch Butterflies, you know because of Brower?s work, both scientific and outreach. He was a great teacher, an important researcher, a torch-bearing conservationist, and a leading light in lepidoptery. We are extremely excited to offer his books. We ship everyday from a real neighborhood bookstore. This description is written by an actual person, who is holding the book in front of them to make sure it?s properly described. Please contact us with questions or if you would like to see photographs.…
