About the Author: R.A.F. McPhearson, is a native of the Southwest, an Honorary Navajo Nation Veteran, and Cultural Anthropologist. A former library director and history teacher, she is also an experienced horsewoman, placing a National Champion in competitive trail riding. She lives on a ranch in southern Colorado with husband, horses, dogs and Hellkitty.
