Evidence Against The Views Of The Abolitionists,. This item is unavailable.Evidence Against The Views Of The Abolitionists,

"Evidence Against The Views Of The Abolitionists," by Richard H. Colfax, presents arguments supporting the notion of natural inferiority of Black people. Published in 1833, this work reflects the contentious debates surrounding slavery in the United States during that period.

The book offers a stark look into the historical justifications used to defend the institution of slavery, based on alleged physical and moral differences. It serves as a primary source for understanding the pro-slavery arguments prevalent in the 19th century.

While deeply problematic by modern standards, this book provides insight into the racial attitudes and social structures of the era, and remains a crucial text for those studying the history of abolitionism, race relations, and the intellectual history of the United States.
