1855. No edition remarks. 492 pages. No dust jacket. Green marbled boards half bound in green leather with gilt tooled spine bands. The author, unstated, is Ellen Eyre Cornish. Front endpaper has been removed. Inscription to front pastedown. Pages are moderately tanned and thumbed at the edges, with creased corners and foxing. Hinges and guttering are cracked. Binding is loose. Final page and rear pastedown separating from rest of text block. Sporadic pronounced foxing. Boards have been heavily rub worn with heavy shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are bumped and peeled and spine ends are crushed, with some small splits and chips. Approx 1 inch of leather missing from spine tail. Tanning to spine and edges. Slight rubbing and marking overall. Spine gilt slightly dulled and worn. Seller Inventory # 1699351571ADA
