Light page tanning, binding still firm although front hinge cracked; single-colour vignettes and illuminated initial letter to head of each section, colour plates (tissue guard to all but one illustration, guard for frontispiece is loose); internally a nice copy, rather let down by grubby cover which shows marking due to old damp which also affects edges of endpapers and half title page (front endpaper is missing), cover also has some edgewear.
