Contemporary leather binding which is very worn and perished. The binding is firm and the contents reasonably clean. The names of previous owners are written on the front pasted down end paper and on the top of the title page and some have been crossed out, which are contemporary with, or early nineteenth century. Lacks the front free end paper and possibly any blank preliminary pages. 398 pages with 18 fold out diagram plates. First plate torn on fold and a couple of others to a lesser degree. A little tanning and general age related colouring. Scarce.
