Paperback. Ethan Rowe and the Aether Prism: Book 2Ethan Rowe thought returning to normal high school life would be easy after getting expelled from an alien university. Boy, was he wrong! Between secret magic lessons with his alien teachers, dodging government agents, and trying not to blow up his aunt's cats with wonky spells, "normal" isn't exactly in the cards. And with Earth's cosmic energy levels at an all-time low, even the simplest magic feels like trying to light a match underwater. But when a cybernetic alien race sets their sights on Earth, Ethan's weird life gets a whole lot weirder. With his best friend Knighton, the mysterious Sarah, a government agent who's practically moved into his kitchen, and an alien princess who still can't quite master Earth slang, Ethan must find a way to save humanity from becoming the galaxy's latest science experiment.Armed with questionable spell-coding skills and a talent for causing chaos, Ethan's in a race against time. Can he protect Earth without exposing magic to the world? And more importantly, can he do it all while keeping up with his algebra homework?Packed with humor, heart, and cosmic adventure, this second installment in the Ethan Rowe series proves that sometimes the best heroes are the ones who have no idea what they're doing.Content Warning: This book contains scenes of mild violence, discussions of parental death, themes of loss and grief, and situations involving mind control and body modification. While written for ages 12-18, parental guidance is suggested for younger or sensitive readers. This item is printed on demand.
