Eternity Many Christians become disillusioned as their quest for peace and pleasure on this earth fills them with despair. If you are one of those believers who senses you are missing something--who had hoped for more--it may be that your perspective is distorted by your focus on this world, this life. If this world is all there is, life can seem meaningless, with few answers to the tough questions. The stresses of everyday living can overwhelm as we continue to search for something more. Have we forgotten that this world is not the only one? Well-known and respected Bible teacher Joe Stowell reminds us that we are built for eternity. As a result, we are citizens of two other worlds: the world to come and the world Christ has placed within our hearts. Heaven must be our consuming point of reference as we seek to interact effectively with the three worlds to which we belong With heaven as your point of reference, you can learn to live a satisfying, balanced, and victorious life--even in a fallen world. The author shows you how to develop a passion for eternity, providing fresh alternatives to a world filled with hollow pursuits.…
