Voices of Conviction gathers biographical sketches and essays on faith, learning, and modern thought.
This collection surveys thoughtful minds, tracing how they shaped theology, science, and culture. Readable and insightful, it invites readers to weigh ideas with clarity and care.
In these biographical sketches and critical essays, E. H. Dewart guides you through the lives of influential thinkers and the questions they raised. The book balances personal history with examination of theological and intellectual currents, helping readers understand how great minds wrestled with belief, doubt, and modern knowledge.
- Accessible introductions to key figures in theology and philosophy.
- Analysis of debates in biblical criticism, science, and religious thought.
- Context for how these ideas influenced preaching, education, and public life.
- Connections between historical debates and contemporary questions about faith.
Ideal for readers drawn to religious history, biographical study, and the evolution of modern thought.

Product Description
The essay on Charles Sangster, and the selections from the Poems I have written since the publication of my Songs Of Life, may interest readers to whom Poetry is more attractive than Theology. As these articles were written at widely different times and for different periodi cals, each Essay discusses the subject of which it treats without regard to what may have been said in any other Essay in the volume.
