nach der Bestellung gedruckt Neuware - Printed after ordering - A bold inquiry into the mysteries of life and afterlife, An Essay On The Scriptural Doctrine Of Immortality invites readers to walk the tightrope between faith and reason. Challis's humane, lucid voice makes a long-formed debate feel urgent to today's curious minds. This volume gathers a rigorous exploration of immortality in scripture, guiding both theology students and general readers through a careful, accessible account of life after death beliefs. Framed as a Victorian religious prose work, it blends philosophical theological treatise with practical hermeneutics, offering a historic window into late nineteenth century britain's debates about the scriptural basis for immortality. It is more than a scholarly treatise; it is a thoughtful dialogue that balances belief, evidence, and interpretation, inviting readers to test ideas without surrendering wonder.Historically significant as a touchstone of early Christian apologetics and biblical hermeneutics debates, the work stands as a clear marker of its era's intellectual tempo. For collectors and casual readers alike, this is not merely a reprint but a cultivated artefact-restored for today's and future generations, a true collector's item and a cultural treasure. Out of print for decades and now republished by Alpha Editions, it offers a renewed voice to illuminate religious essay collection readers and scholars of Victorian era theology. A preserved beacon for those curious about immortality in scripture and the broader tradition of religious inquiry.…
