Private ex-libris labels inside front cover and to ffep, owner's name inside front cover. John Huxham (1692-1768) was an English physician most notable for his study of fevers. This copy was previously in the libraries of the Royal College of Pathologists and of W D Foster MD Cantab, contributor to the ancet and author of a number of medical volumes including 'A History of Parasitology' (1966).
