156 pages. Leather spine over paper covered boards. Splitting of leather along lower spine but not compromising the binding which remains sturdy. Both hinges sound. A few pages loose (but remain attached) especially where gutter is seen at p. 72-73 and 96-97. Pages tanned and occasionally stained. A few short closed tears; top strip of front endpaper torn away. Two blank endpapers at front and at rear. Inscription to front pastedown, else unmarked. Other than the addition of Rovoudt as publisher, this 1847 issue appears identical to the Library of Congress copy seen on Google Books. Uncommon. Seller Inventory # Books006806
