A delightful book of the love story of Eros and Psyche, set in Crete and told in 366 stanzas of rhyming verse. Arranged by season and presented as one verse for each day of a Leap Year. First published in 1885, this is the revised edition of 1894. Light oatmeal-coloured cloth with raised classical, symmetrical design in gilt to upper board and spine with gilt lettering. General very good plus condition with clean, white rough-cut pages; light offsetting to endpapers and bottom corners a little bumped . Would make an excellent gift. Seller Inventory # 004107
