Original half cloth over printed boards (Band 79, Parts I and III), or printed wrappers (Band 83, part II). = Record of an important botanical expedition to southern Brazil, with contributions by several botanical specialists, such as Porsch on Orchidaceae (with seven fine chromolithographs), Rechinger on Melastomataceae, and Zahlbruckner on lichens, etc. Contained in the academy's Denkschriften 79th and 83rd volume. Published over a very long period and therefore rarely found complete. It is clear that WWI and the Great Depression intervened. Uncut. A seldom-seen complete set in mint condition.
