1898. (Hardcover set) Very good, no dust jacket. 725pp. Two volumes in blue cloth with gilt lettering to the spines and a gilt cover device. Top edges gilt, notes, facsimiles, index, list of publications. The edges are worn and bumped, there is a previous owner's book plate on the front endpaper of both volumes, and the endpapers are toned. "The MS., from which the following work is derived, is a small folio volume bound in stamped leather, with brazen corners and clasps. It is usually known as Registrum F., perhaps so called after Mr. Farley, at one time scribe of the University, who certainly wrote a considerable portion of it" - from the Introduction.
