Maxwell's House of Books is a quality used book store located in the heart of the quaint village of La Mesa, California. We are a small, family-owned general store with a special emphasis on scholarly material (i.e., philosophy, history, literature, literary criticism). Store hours are 11 am - 4:30 pm, Tuesday through Saturday, and 12 pm to 4 pm on Sundays.
