Book is square and securely bound. A solid and attractive copy. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 218, 196 pages; This is fa csimile reprint of a two-volume novel by North Carolina Senator, Robert Strange. The novel is about the Eastern Cherokee Chief, Yonaguska, who lived in the Great Smokies and was the adoptive father of Will Thomas, a white child who became a famed leader of the Cherokee prior to and during the Civil War. Both volumes are included in this 1960-reprint. The first edition of this work is nearly impossible to find and this reprint is not common. Seller Inventory # 13386
