This book has been written for the intermediate student who requires specialized practice in making and receiving telephone calls. There are five units each consisting of four to six recorded conversations followed by practical exercises which make full use of telephone procedure and vocabulary. The book may be used with or without a teacher, as the exercises are all self-corrective. A cassette is available, containing recordings of the conversations. The first three units have been recorded with British voices, and the last two with American voices.
