This book, a 200-year-old textbook, was widely used to educate young people in reading, language, and moral principles through a collection of prose and poetry from esteemed writers. It was a staple in schools in both England and the United States, and has multiple additions. This copy has some rough spots on the cover, and the leather has started splitting a bit - specifically on the back cover. The pages have discoloration from age, some corners are bent/folded, and there are a few tears throughout. Pencil writing and markings can be seen on the inside front and back covers. *Our vintage items may have wear or production imperfections. Pictures are a part of the descriptions. Questions welcome. Thanks for shopping.*.
